Communities Don’t Just Happen on Social Media Walls

At every NOOD session, something small and sacred gets passed along. This is the Book of NOODs. It never belongs to one person — it belongs to our space.

At every NOOD session, one artist leaves behind an anonymous question. At the next session, a different artist opens the book, reads it, answers it from the heart… and leaves a new question for someone they may never meet. No names. No timelines. Just artists speaking gently into the future.

What emerges is a quiet conversation and lived experiences — strangers offering honesty, encouragement, vulnerability, humour, grief, gratitude, hope. A reminder that even when we work alone, we’re not alone.

This book is proof that art communities don’t just happen on social media walls — they happen in care. In listening. In answering thoughtfully for someone you’ll never see, simply because they exist.

We’re grateful for every hand that has held this notebook. For every brave question. For every generous answer. The Book of NOODs is a love letter passed forward. And these pages? They’re the reason we keep going.

Come read what artists are leaving for each other. Because communities don’t just happen on social media walls. They happen hand to hand, heart to heart, one stranger at a time.
